Gang Customization Crash

It's me again, so hello :) I've figured out about the cellphone homies always busy bug(or not). Got fixed. But I encountered another problem, When I'm about to customize my gang, It runs perfectly, but the only problem, that is you'll crash when you're going to exit the gang customization menu. Any possible solutions here? :/

Well to start what mods do you exactly have installed?
Basic steps for the problem are to delete everything in your root with the following extensions:
.asm_pc
.xtbl
.str2_pc
.lua,
verify integrity on Steam and reïnstall the mods you've selected one by one to see what mod caused the problem.

Besides, this thread belongs to the Get help/troubleshooting subforum. Nothing offensive, just a friendly reminder.

I had this problem to, it had to do with the characters.xtbl file. I messed around with the saints their files and it caused them to no longer spawn and made the gang customization menu to crash. Take a look if you have the character.xtbl file in your SR3 root and then remove it or place it in a folder on your desktop, check if the game still crashes in the menu and if it does, it has to do with the file, if it doesn't, you can place the file back in the root and look for another solution.

Well, the only mod I have is Johnny Gat that replaces Zombie Johnny. I had this problem since I got the game :/ googled for some solutions, yet there's none :/ So is there other solutions? And Miku I don't know how to do that..

Deleting those files should be no problem, so to verify integrity on Steam, just right click on SR:TT and hit properties, then hit "verify integrity of the gamecache" under the Local Files tab.

For some reason, I just can't access them :/ don't know why. Which file that has the access on the gang customization? Like maybe characters.xtbl?

And your friend did give you a Steam version of SRTT, right? (I did read the unedited post through the mail ;)) gang_customization.xtbl gives acces for gang customization.

Please don't ban me for this. I admit that I used a no steam copy of the game to check it out befor spending the $49 bucks for the total package on steam (will post screen shot to prove if needed). The issue that the OP is talking about is a common issue with a pirated game.
