I finally beat the game (again) and started on the DLC. When I got to the trouble with clones, I ran into a big issue. None of the cutscenes would play. It would just have me start the mission. I don't know if a mod in this pack is causing this or if it's just a glitch in the game. Anyone have an idea?

I believe I followed the instructions for this mod perfectly but after I copied the patch files to the home folder of SR3 executable file, the game won't run anymore. :/
I had a mod previously installed before but I run the mod remover thing, then used the GoS creator and chose advance then mixed a bunch of stuff and used the "P" patch option. (not the loop thing)
If it's note-worthy, i have all the game add ons installed.
I'm on windows 8, everything up to date including steam.
any ideas suggestions ?
in the mean time, I went on steam, went on SR3 properties, chose the "Validate cache files" option. So that it would restore the game files to the original and i'd try again.

I'm no expert, but I can try to help. From my understanding is that not all the mods are compatible with each other (2 mods that edit guns won't work). If you verify the cache, I'm pretty sure it just DLs files that aren't there. Not replacing what was changed. If you want to make sure you have a clean slate, delete the entire game and reinstall. What mods are you using?

No need to delete the entire game. Just delete all files in the root of your SR4 install (but leave the subfolders!) Then verify integrity. It will only need to redownload ~20Mb of data.
Thanks for the reply ! Yeah i didn't delete the whole game I just verified the game files after getting rid of the mod-files. I did it all over again and this time it worked (or some of it at least).
The mod that changes the character height doesn't work. and something weird happened with the upgrades I couldn't find the "Infinite ammo" upgrades that I didn't activate yet. I think i'll re do it once more but this time i'll only use the weapon balance and shitface's npc/whether/day&night ones.

Do you own the legal version of the game on Steam?
Shitface's Weapon Re-Balance is extremely outdated in this package. I recommend installing the newest version from its own thread and then applying my unofficial patch.
Yeah idolNinja it's a legal steam version. I also have all the DLCs (in case that matters).
I finally got a mix that works fine. had to abandon a few tweaks though. realised that Gang Plus One mod isn't compaitable with one of shitfaces mod (I think it's the NPC behaviour one cus they both use a common file)
Nice Fan of Saints I like the burnt people go red thing! also learned that the infinite ammo upgrade disappearing is part of shitface's mod.

I'll be trying it outYou're right but personally I find removing them completely pointless as Shitface didn't reach the limit of unlockables.xtbl entries and if those upgrades make the game too easy you always can just don't buy them so I restored them in the unofficial patch.
I didn't include any instructions because all you need to do is drop all files from archive to SR IV install folder (and press "Yes" if the system asks you to replace already existing files). Just make sure to install the basic Weapon Re-Balance mod before because I included only updated files in the archive.I assume the instructions for your unoficcial patch are with the files
That's it i'm through with mods for now! I should have finished the game 100% first then tried some mods out.
I just took over all of the luchadores territory and got the call from angle and that he's *SPOILER* ready to fight me. but then I can't find him on my phone or any indicators on the map. I'm assuming this is because of the mission replay mod ??
