Very unlikely.I took a look inside character.xtbl only to find that npc_alien_MasterCID (the Golden CID) has a flag assigned to it :
<Flag>golden_cid</Flag> . I think this flag makes it invulnerable to explosions and gunfire and allows you to destroy it only by pressing the USE button.

I imagine removing that flag would render the golden cid worthless, and destroying it would do nothing, if it didn't crash your game outright.

Apologies for the lack of updates, been hard at work on some other non modding related stuff and honestly can't be bothered copying the files around to get my test version of the game setup for the latest patch. If the mod has stopped working let me know and I'll fix it right away though.
