graphics error: no gun fire or explosions

The only way that I know to restart the game with an existing character is to join someone elses Co-Op at the beginning with that character.
 
If you can see it on the SR website, and you marked it to be in your queue, and you log into the same account in game that you uploaded it to, then yes, you should be able to.

The community account in game doesn't usually change unless you tell it to, so unless you went and purposely changed it, you don't really need to worry about that.
