GTA V new screens

Of course not... but how much did GTA4 look like GTA3?
That looks a little. Maybe. It's tough to tell, it doesn't look much like any of them except in a very vague sense.

I figure if it's based on San Andreas, it'll bear so little resemblance it's not really worth it.

Plus, let's face it, that still looks nothing like them.. so names or not my point holds.

Still, has very little semblance with said Los Santos from the game.. just like as noted GTA4 looks almost nothing like GTA3. I can't think of anything that actually made me think of GTA3, it was like an entirely new city. That's fine.. but don't expect San Andreas to have any bearing on GTA5.

Same goes for gameplay, sadly.. GTA4 felt smaller.. and I had trouble with the gameplay and story. GTA:SA felt like the pinnacle of the series to me. Kinda like how as fun as SR3 is, SR2 was better.. bigger, more to do, and it felt diverse like an area rather than just a city. Maybe they'll realize and put some fun stuff back in GTA5, but I'm not banking on it.

Oh, and expect the fact that you have a computer to be an afterthought. It's made for consoles, so it'll LOOK like it runs on a console. Even if it's on a PC which can run 50x the render distance and 16 times the texture quality, and a dozen times more peds and traffic. Multiplayer will probably be 16 people, if included.. and it's certainly not gonna be openly moddable or even condoned/assisted like GTA3 era engine (GTA3, Vice City, San Andreas).

GTA 4 ran like a piece of shit on the PC too :D You're right.
GTA 4 is moddable like a charm, too (after Taxifix). ASI-files even work in Free Mode in MP.
GTA 4 was a FAIL of Rockstar Games.
At the 2nd Screenshot on the 1st Page,I totally can say where that Place is, the map of the City of LS looks familiar to the one of SA.
SA was the 2nd big map in GTA (GTA IV). It was the LONGEST GTA ever made.
In the Trailer of GTA V you can see BMX,Planes, dogs.
GTA 5 will be small like shit.
