GTA V new screens

''GTA V is only confirmed for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Why not the PC, Wii U and so on?''
"Everything else is up for consideration. That's all I can give you. The main thing is we are not... we are a third-party publisher. We're not Nintendo, we're not Sony, we're not Microsoft. We love all of them in different ways. But we can do what we want wherever there's the appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market. If that's on Apple we put something on Apple. Wherever it might be. I think that's the fun in what we do. We see ourselves as a content company that uses technology. We don't make it; we use it to make the most fun stuff."

Typical Rockstar b*llshit.

If it doesn't come on PC they're virtually guaranteeing I don't buy it. GTAIV was awful on consoles - the aim was my biggest complaint. On PC it was at least playable - even if it was fairly awful :)

If it wasn't for the ability to mod GTA4, and aggressively so thanks to the blocks R* kept throwing in the way, I wouldn't even consider it. I still have trouble playing it... something about the game turns me off. Maybe it's the way the cars feel like they're all five tons or more, or the pacing (or lack of), and the way it's all so... grimdarkgritty at times. I can't make myself play it for some reason, I just quickly lose interest. It has moments but not enough of them. Yet, San Andreas I've finished twice, and loved it, without mods (well, the first time without. The second time I tossed a few little scripting mods like a save-anywhere and a texture update).

I suspect the reason it's not up for the PC is rockstar is finally admitting it. "We don't like the PC market. The last time we made a good game for it, it turns out people found the code we left in the game, and the media latched on like a pack of piranhas. Even throwing the entire PC modding userbase under the bus and lying that they added it didn't help. It left a lot of bad blood, so we only do console stuff now. Honestly, didn't Red Dead Redemption clue you guys in by now?"

*being typical GTA fanboy*

I don't know about that... mouse aiming could be smoother, driving was just terrible, and performance wise... well...

Anyway I'm sure it will come to PC, but I'm also sure it will be a shitty low-budget port again...

GTA2 > Vice City > GTA3 :)
Couldn't finish any of the pre-3 games. Not because of the games themselves, but because I have issues finding my way around pretty much any urban environment if I don't have a map, both IRL and in games, and GTA1/2's cities and their top-down perspective ended up being super-confusing.

Finished GTA III twice, Vice City three times, San Andreas eight times (twice on PS2, I have a life I swear! I swear! :C) and IV and EFLC each five times. Yet I'm skeptical about GTA V to say the least, and the only companies I hate more than Rockstar are EA and Microsoft.

GTA I and II sucked, GTA's success started with GTA III, the fanboys just don't want to admit it.

Logic at it's finest, I know.

Yeah, that happens a bit, unfortunately. I do enjoy GTA2 immensely though.
