Happy 2016, Volition! How is Saints Row 5 doing?

Did anyone get any sneak peeks or any details about the possibility of Saints Row 5 and what it will be about? One thing I might have heard is that there's ganna be a new Boss, maybe the child of the original Boss. If that's the case, I might make mine into a female character.

So any thoughts on what you guys want in the game? Mine would be a bigger reliance on vehicles as well as sweet new customization options. The glowing paint mod was awesome for SR3 and SR4. Maybe we can have an option to turn any vehicle into a monster truck, or maybe attach weapons on them.

Hopefully here we can talk about it more. I'm late on GAT OUT OF HELL, but I hope to finish it and give you guys my thoughts.

Not sure if I'm willing to mod GOOH as much as I would SR3 and SR4.

But you can give it a shot.

Actually one suggestion I can give to you is a mod that can add spray paint symbols on your car, or one where you can put a turret/gun on any car (The ladder might be highly complicated).
 
i want customizable superpowers. it feels like i'm a minority thinking superpowers were the best things in the saints row series. I don't care if it has to be a cheat or an end-game reward.... i just REALLY want more superpowers!!!
while i'm at it. i want a huge, more detailed city this time. i don't think volition can get away with recycling steelport for the 3rd time.... and MAYBE stillwater wouldnt fit a superhero game...
which is why: a new city on a far-off planet where the saints have to conquer. it would be SIMILAR to stillwater and steelport, but far bigger, more detailed, and more futuristic than either. I'm talking LOTS of interiors: stores, malls, strip clubs, casinos, prisons, cribs, enemy strongholds.... make this new city as much a star of the game as the saints are. and make it feel as alive as possible :p

also... while i'm at it... this city doesn't HAVE to rely solely on humans. hell at this point with how 4 ended the saints can have the zin and other races in their ranks, and hell, even as customization for the boss! (i want a cthulu-faced boss!)

that's about all i have, don't listen to haters and go back to the "gansta" style. EMBRACE the idea of a sci-fi gangsta hybrid!
