Saints Row IV How the Dubstep Gun Handles Music?

I purchaced the Dubstep gun remix DLC via my Steam account mainly for the Metal music feature.:p
When I started SRIV with steam it showed the screen confirming that the remix DLC is installed.:)

When firing the dubstep gun, it just plays the same track.:(

How do you switch it to play the metal music ?

Thank you.
The music is linked to its weapon skin, so just change the weapon 'camo' in friendly fire :)

Thanks bro.
Would you know which skin is linked to the metal music track ?

Thanks for the info.
You are right about the low volume audio that plays the track when selecting the custom skin for it.
Does anyone here know the name of the deth metal track and where it can be found ?
Is it possible to add that track to the radio's mixed tape list ?

You could record the game sound using somthing like Audacity them give this site a go :p http://www.midomi.com/

Make certain that you are changing the correct Dub-Step gun as you should have 2 of them in the list.

What is the name of the animation that the NPCs do while firing the dubstep gun and in which archive or file can it be found in ?
They are just playing normal always loaded animations, but they play with the rate and sometimes play backwards.
Is it possible to use the NPC dubstep reaction animation ( just a guess as to it's name ) as an animation state or action for extended player taunts/compliments in the customizable_action.xtbl file or an animation_state for NPCs in the action_node_npcs.xtbl ?

If there is a specific reaction animation, it should be possible to do this. I would dig through the anim_* tables and look for something that sounds dubstep-like. :)

I wonder if anyone's made any progress on this. I've unpacked and messed with the audio files a bit, but can't seem to uncover the aforementioned markers, or any way to modify them. It would be worth the effort to set markers manually for a custom song, especially if it's only a 20-30 second loop rather than a whole track (i'm looking at you, Frets on Fire)
