How to fly - probably no mods required

While playing SR4, I noticed somethimes, when gliding, my MC started to fly higher for a while (I hadn't mods installed), but I didn't know why.
Yesterday I discovered the trick. Now, is true I have recently installed this mod http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/ultra-powers.5238/ so I don't know if it works without mods (you should try). The trick is, when you glide, toggle ctrl until you stop to sprint in air and just glide. You should glide upward. The more you left youyr character fall, the mre upward you go when you hold ctrl
 
oh cool, i like that ima give it a try when i finish me quest missions u kno, so ur saying this is without mods but then it is with mods
 
Its definitely the ultra powers mod; I love this mod soo fuckin much; im not sure if its an intended feature but I didnt wanna say anything to freezyburn in fear he would fix it xD
 
I have the mod installed, so i don't know if it works without mods. I think is should because it happened that my MC went upward while gliding, but at that time I didn't understood how.
 
Didn't this come up before, where when you have more than three air dashes in a row your character will glide upwards? I do remember that showing up, and this sounds like it. It's not clear what caused the bug, but still fun.

Just don't go above the skybox too much. It seems if you exceed the havok box, it doesn't seem to process gravity afterwards.. at least, when I accidentally did, I certainly never actually fell back to the ground after an hour of waiting. :eek:
