After I downloaded the most recent version of mission replay, the game's HUD disappeared.
I can still play and everything, but NO hud. I can't open the crib menu or phone, bucause I can't use controls, and the phone/cribmenu doesn't come up.
Help??
 
User has been banned for piracy, as admitted via PM. Pirated versions of SRTT will never work correctly with scripting mods like Mission Replay.

This was a misunderstanding on both sides that led to the ban. [TB] Mustachioed Massacre has proven that he does actually own the game on Steam and is not a filthy despicable pirate. Ban lifted and welcome back. The next round of drinks is on the house. :)
 
My hud too has disappeared and I uninstalled the mod and deleted the steam folder and reinstalled it all (without the mod) and the huds still gone. The removal of the hud was a feature included with the mod though. Is there any keyboard command or something I am missing in this cell phone, that turns the hud back on? Also, I noticed when you go to the mall and select from the clothing to buy, outfit, the game always crashes. I rather have an answer to the hud question though, if only one question can be answered, please.
 
That doesn't make any sense, unless you have much deeper issues than the mod. What happens if you start a new save?
 
I tried that too, and it's the same. I have no deeper issues though. I read somewhere in the read me, that there was a screenshot mode that removed the hud. Is there a way to make the hud return? I can actually see the menus for the phone and everything else, it's just the hud itself, radar, weapons radial and all those features that are missing.
 
Well, you do have deeper issues if you reinstalled the game after completely deleting the srtt folder and still have outfit crashing and hud issues. That's obviously not the fault of any mod then. Unless, you made a mistake and didn't actually do those things like you thought. A quick way to confirm is to look at your SRTT install folder and see if there any files with the following extensions:
.xtbl
.lua
.str2_pc
.asm_pc

Those are all modded files and should not be there if you actually did delete all mods. Also, do a verify integrity on Steam to make certain all your files have been reverted back to vanilla.
 
Are you running either the Japanese or German version btw? Both are censored and may have issues with mods.

I know you've said Steam, but I'll say this again just to make sure, all scripting mods like mission replay will only work correctly with the Steam version of SRTT.
 
Thanks for replying. Here's what I did to fix this. I started a multiplayer game. I originally wanted to play multi, but I wanted to look at all the stores and things in singleplayer and use cheats to buy what I wanted. Anyway in multi the hud appeared again, so then I went back to singleplayer and it had returned. Not sure why it ever disappeared though, or what triggered it. The only problem now is the crashing when going to the outfit tab in stores. Seems to run fine other than that with the mod. The version of the mod I installed was just pressing P and moving those files over. Everything seems fine with the hud and everything else, but this outfits tab crash is something else.
