I can see through stuff?

I don't think that this ever happened to me before, I was having some crash at the startup so I download IdolNinja's settings.dat... but now I can see through cars and buildings.

That settings file contains all of your video options, resolution, etc. Try manually setting all of your video options again, or worst case delete the file and the game will create a new one on run.
