Character Customization I hate the new character editor.

Now does it have the awesome indepth sliders of SR2 where you could follow yotube vids and make almost perfect celebrities......No. Is it the absolute worst CC out there....No Look at the bigger similar games CC, GTA V and RDR2 ....Yeaaaaah........:/
Like Admixon said. Mod tools are not out yet. People are already putting the "Well not really any mods coming out and it doesn't even look like the community is going to be making any so im not buying it" cards. When they fail to see the Foundation we now have for possibly one of the most modded SRs out there SINCE SR2. And with it being the Last SR IdolNinja worked on it would be a tribute for this game to take off hugely with mods. Since he created one of the biggest mods for SR2.

GTA Online Character Creator is even worst and by Extension RD Online which is almost a copy and paste with a more old west style. Also, most of the characters you can create there look like sick bums or crack addicts. Seriously, just look at the characters people play with on GTA Online videos. You can make an ok-ish character if you try hard enough, but that's about it.

I think the SR 2022 boss creator is fine, it does the job better than the ones Rockstar created for their online games. But at the same time it's much more limited than SR2 and even SR3/4. It's even more limited than Skyrim, you can only select Head, Eyes, Nose and Mouth... they look better because they kinda did a much better job with the presets.

Even when it's limited compared to the older games, i got to admit my SR 2022 Fem Boss is by far my favorite.

I wish there was a specific slider for Butt, Waist, Legs and Height. Some Asian games go a mile ahead in this regard, But it is what it is.

Don’t even compare saints row CC to gta you don’t what your talking about sure gta has that family thing you select your race but it’s standard just few sliders, no one stands out in the game people hardly make good looking characters. You can’t even adjust the body variations, no muscles to ass, the one might not be great at first glance but just take patient and playing around with it

Exactly just like what I was saying, I like gta character model instead of that cartoony look but the cc needs more work and your right about people playing as rack heads or some try hard looking goth person. Reminds of those teenage students you see back in saints row 2 when you go around the high school but more problems. Take a look at some of my photos you can tell which are saints rows an gta I’m trying to brag here but when I make a character I usually choose females why? Their a lot fun to play as no homo they have more options than males that’s m opinion

I don't see what's wrong with the character creator. I was able to make a character I don't hate that as I play sometimes I forgot was even something I crafted in there and just feels like an actual character to me. I dunno maybe I'm crazy because I don't hate SR2022.

SR22's CC is FAR from the worst. Im with everyone on that aspect having come from games like Black Desert Online | Sims 4 | Fallout 4 That all have deeper CC. You can absolutely make good even great looking characters in SR22.

I messed around with the character creator before the game came out, and it felt very bland and under-whelming to me. They seemed to really go all in with the facial features settings, which I suppose is a good thing, but a few things really annoyed me. First, no sex appeal slider like SRTT and IV? I mean, I hate to resort to SR Fanboy cliche here and jump on the whole "They went woke!" bandwaggen, but why remove the ability to make huge, cartoon boobs? More importantly, though, I didn't like working with the starting templates of the bosses. I thought they were all lame, and it really felt a whole lot more satisfying to me the way they start you off in the previous SR games. All the starting templates looked like really androgynous to me, like the devs were trying really hard to show how woke and trans-supporting they are. None of the female templates looked particularly female to me. I just got bored with the boss creator, and didn't bother with it since I haven't bought the game yet.

I don't care about the reviews, the game looks fun enough as it is, but I am not sure how buggy it is on the PC, and that's my preferred platform for any SR game over my PS5. I really am hoping for mods, like a lot of you. I guess I'll wait for mods and to see if they fix some of the PC bugs before deciding what platform to buy.

Not sure why, maybe I am being influenced by my negative initial impressions of the CC, but all the so-called "hot girls" I have seen created, look more like trans boys. Oh and NO I am not transphobic. I am a huge supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, but being a straight male, I prefer women and girls that look like women and girls, not like what I have seen. Your character looks like either a cross dresser or one of those steroid-bodybuilder girls to me.

I like my Female Boss very femenine too, I also made her in Previous Saints Row and GTA Online, and i got to admit she turned out pretty good. So far my favorite of all.

You know what's my biggest problem with the CC? When I want to have my main OC in the reboot. I'm not saying you can't create nice looking characters but believe me I tried for hours create my OC but with lack of sliders it's impossible. I spent like 2000 hours playing as one character in TT and IV and I'm sad I can't have her in the reboot as well
