I JUST PREORDERED FOR ONE REASON....

I was going to pre-order. Honestly, while I am not doubting the sincerity of the reviews lambasting the game, or hell, even their accuracy, at the end of the day, this is still a SR game, and I literally love every game in the franchise to date. Plus a lot of what the critics complained about sounded like it could be what I like to call laid back gaming fun.

I decided to forego the pre-order bonuses, not because I don't want to pay full price, but because I really don't know what platform to buy it on. IdolNinja, rest his soul, had some amazing mods and mod sets, and if he was still alive and doing his thing, rather than hacking the afterlife code, I would get it on the PC, hands down.

The problem here is I am not even sure SR will support mods, which some people have speculated might be the case. So if that's the case, I might snag it on the PS5. Still leaning toward PC, though, since I have a really nice gaming laptop.

Does anyone know ANYTHING about mods? Like I said, screw the reviews. This is another SR game, and even if it is everything these 60%-ish reviews say it is, I am sure I will enjoy it just fine. Oh, and I don't have the Remastered SRTT, and I do want the Season Pass, so I will have to buy the $100.00 version, unless I go with the Best Buy version for PS5, which is only $90.00 USD and doesn't have that Los Panteros American Muscle Bundle, which I don't care about anyway.

Well the game released and has turned out to be horrible. Get fucked, idiots. I was right all along.

Bro Calm down or you get punished
Punished for what? Calling out consumerism that enables bad products to keep being released?

Don't be a wallet watcher.
Translation: you're a Saints Row shill and you don't want me to advocate that people know a bit more about what they're buying before buying it.

I was completely justified given how horrible the game turned out to be anyway. Keep coping all you want, but I was right in the end.

Please be mindful of our first rule:
1. Don't be a dick.

I've bought every game day 1 since SR3 and I didn't buy this one. I'm deeply disappointed in the seeming future of gaming where games are released broken like FO76, NMS and CP077 only to be patched later, and I'm even more disappointed to see Saints Row joining in that trend.

Honestly I wish we had gotten a real SR5 instead with the original crew. Maybe they travel in time and get stuck in a world where profanity is banned like in Demolition Man and then they have to conquer that society. The crew we got now look like college kids

But ultimately I dunno man, I felt like SR4 was great fun and then we got this disappointing nonsense. I'd take a Pierce spinoff over this. They could name it "Pierced again" or something.
