In-game Crash: when I first go to Friendly Fire.

OK, here's my problem. When I decided to restart my save from scratch,
the game played well even with mods...that is until after "A Pleasant Day"
mission. Now, after jacking a car & finally arriving at my first Friendly Fire
gun store, the moment I access the store instead of bringing up the store
purchase menu, it just crashes.

The description of this crash is this: after acessing the store, no access menu
pops up...it's just the music of Friendly Fire but I'm also like, unable to move
...at all. Hell I even tried pressing pause but no good. But after the music of Friendly Fire
is gone...the game's quiet.

I thought it was to do with the number of mods I've added or the versions of them.
Anyway, the mods I'm using at the moment are as listed below:

Saints gang Peacemaker.
Murderbot homie.
Activity Easy Mode.
Easy Unlocker 4.1.
Customize any vehicle & color changer. Plus IdolNinja's ASM for this mod too.
Additional Cheats v5 by IdolNinja.
and New clothing for sale.

Any suggestions, recommendations?
Or shall I try removing the mods & then
reloading the game?

Edit: I've removed all but the additional cheats mod,
and luckily, I've successfully bypassed that crash.

But still, should I limit my mods?

As it says in the sticky post at the top, remove all mods and verify you are still having issues before posting a bug report.

If you are not, then the problem you are having is with the mod, not with the game, and you'll need to take the issue up with that mod author.

Since removing the mods seemed to fix your issue, as of your edit, this is not a Volition issue, and I am moving this thread to the Get Help forum.

Have you tried updating adding them back one at a time to find the culprit mod?

Gotcha. Thanks for reminding me. Also, I received an update for Saints Row IV recently...was that to fix anything?

Now that you mention it, yes. After saving my game after completing "The Fundamentals" mission,
I quit the game, then installed easy unlocker & customize any vehicle with color changer for clothing mods
I'm thinking of also saving again & then installing Activity easy mode too.

If that works, then I'll play on until more features become available in-game.
