Main cannon of the tank

Oh hoo hoooooooo, in that case, I must zoom back to my edited weapons.xtbl file - I increased damage values for vehicle weapons against myself by 10 points or even twice the original amount...


In that case, specnaz94 revert the player damage value right back to 150, else you'll end up dying a LOT faster than you normally would. edit the npc damage instead, kudos to Joey for clearing it up and reminding us all that at the bottom of xtbl files is a description of all the fields there!
 
I've changed npc damage, increased from 1000 to 10000 but still the same, the cars just dont explode after shooting from the cannon
 
Yeah I was toying around with the weapons.xtbl file today, it seems that the damage values for that affect the coaxial machine gun...I can't find the values for the actual turret that goes boom boom with explosions everywhere, so in that case, QUICK SOMEONE ELSE HELP US (please) and enlighten us on how we can edit the main cannon values and not the coaxial machine gun (not the machine gun that uses right-click)
 
It looks like the cannon is the alt weapon, and it uses an explosion, understandably enough, to determine the damage.
So try searching for tank_rpg in explosions.xtbl, and modifying the damage there, and see what happens.
 
Im affraid its not the thing we're looking for, cuz I was trying it without weapons.xtbl and then everything went normally, it has to be in weapons.xtbl.. besides I dont have explosions.xtbl in my folder
 
Explosions.xtbl is in one of the vpp_pc files. You'll have to extract it first before you can edit it. Should be where the pre-patch weapons.xtbl file was which IIRC was in misc_tables.
