Minimaul's Saints Row 2, Saints Row: The Third, Saints Row IV and Gat Out Of Hell tools

Minimaul, Please read my Stream2Update Problem 'cause I can't update any ASM_PC anymore :(
 
I'm having trouble with repacking pause_ctrl_scheme.str2_pc in SRIV.
Even if I don't modify the file at all and just repack it again then it breaks the controller menu.
I only found one instance of it in interface.vpp_pc and some extracted .lua files (Not modifying any of them) in patch_compressed.vpp_pc
Obviously I did update the .asm_pc correctly as my other mods work fine.

Any ideas?
I'm thinking to copy the patch .lua files to my packfile now since I don't see any .asm_pc in there :(

That's interesting. I will test it.

I do test each version of these tools by rebuilding every single packfile and str2 in the game though, so I would expect it to work.
 
I've just tried to convert SR:TT strings with new string tools... Eh... Is there any way to make it load XTBL files from folder or something?

Um, oops. I could have sworn I released rev 76 motnths ago. I'll get rev77 up now. That has read-only support for SR:TT.

Revision 77 (2015/08/20):
  • Add read-only support for Saints Row: The Third packages.
  • Fix some compile-time warnings.
  • Added MakeDummyClothSim & updated HashTester - these tools aren't included in the main distribution, but the source code is on github.
Edit: I'd actually even packaged rev76 for upload... but never actually uploaded it to this thread. Oops.
 
Revision 78 (2015-08-20):
  • Fix ExtractStrings when working with SRTT string files - it was attempting to open SRIV only packfiles - thanks Fan of Saints.
 
Thanks for the update! Will Stream2Update be eventually updated for SR3? Or is that not a goal anymore? Thanks again for all your hard work! :D
