Just finished SR4, now just looking to kill time by messing around with some of the XTBL files. I figured I'd start with the Loud Locust by getting rid of the knockback effect. However, when I changed something (not 100% what, I probably need to overwrite the weapons.xtbl file with a fresh copy), after firing the weapon once, the camera becomes "disconnected". In a sense, it no longer follows behind the player like one expects with 3rd-person view. Instead, it becomes stationary until I fire the weapon again, then tap another button, like jump or reload, etc, then the camera suddenly "snaps" back into place behind the player character and normal movement becomes possible again. Until you fire the weapon a third time.
It seems that with every odd shot, the camera disconnects, and every even shot, you can snap the camera back. Nothing stands out in the Flags section or other bits that dictates this peculiar behavior. Ideas perchance?
Also, is there a master list somewhere of all of the available weapon flags and what they all do? I know some of self-explanatory, but not all. Google's of little help...SR4 is too new still to have populated their indexing, so I get a TON of results back for SR:TT, which is annoying.
Edit: It seems that there's some kind of timer that triggers when you fire the vanilla version of the Locust, and this timer is precisely long enough to allow the player character to get back up before snapping the camera back to proper 3rd person. Kinda guessing this might be hardcoded into the game some where?
