Mods not responding in game

I installed mods into Saints Row 4 with Winrar and even did program files, steam, steamapps, and Sr4. But when I play the game, its like I never even installed anything? Can someone please help

At least like 5 or 6, I had them installed in my pc for awhile, but I had to reboot my pc for certain reasoins, so I reinstalled saints row, and tried to put the mods back in, they worked before

How did the crash happen? It could've affected more than just the hard drive.

Orginally I rebooted my PC because the windows 8.1 update was just crap. So I rebooted it and everything worked fine. Except the mods. Do you think I should reinstall Saints row, and re extract the mod files?

Let's have a screenshot of your SR4 folder so we can see if they're installed correctly. Also list what the mods are so we know what to look for.
Do you think It might be too much for the game?? Or is there not really a limit to how many mods that could be installed??

Certain mods can create bad results for anyone's game. There is often a problem for some people where mods just don't work for no reason. I had an issue with the same problem once, but that's as much as I know of. Funny thing with a few mods I've worked with is that they sometimes need time to work together, so waiting could be an option to consider.

The directory appears fine, but I noticed the lack of the hard drive name and program files. Is that the default space for it, or did you move it to keep your hard drive name private? I understand if that is the case.

I created a short cut to the Steam folder, So I have Steam on my desktop so I dont have to look for it in my Programfiles. Does that have a affect on it?

I don't think it should. If it allows you to play your game, then I don't see why mods would react a lot differently.
