More clothing options and a couple rifle changes?

I would like to be able to find more of the clothing options you see NPC's wearing for sale in the stores, especially the skirt/saints jacket combo you can equip your gang members with in customization.

As for guns, changing the AR 55 from burst fire to basic full auto/sing shot (one bullet with a quick tap of the trigger) would be a huge improvement. As it is with level 4 upgrades The enemy I'm shooting at is often dead by the 1st or second bullet to the brain pain and I piss away the remaining 3-4 rounds, so being able to fire fewer shots if desired would be preferable. (Turning it semi auto at level 4 would work too)

As an alternative tossing a copy of the Mcmanus 2015 into the melee slot would work for me too. (Yes I know it;s not a melee weapon, but honestly the take downs and unarmed attacks are of such quality a melee weapon is often unneeded and I'd rather have a sniper rifle instead of a giant dildo. ;)

Edit: I figured out how to mod the AR 55 easily enough, but I'm still working on adding the Mcmanus to the melee slot, anyone have any ideas if this is even possible?

Easy, just change the line from <Inv_Slot>special</Inv_Slot> to <Inv_Slot>melee</Inv_Slot> in weapons.xtbl under "Special-SniperRifle"

Thanks!

One small problem I've run into however, when in the melee category the rifle no longer functions, as does not display as having ammo/being select able, and in FF I can;t buy ammo for it. Is it possible to change the function of the melee wheel to work as a regular firearms slot?

It is not possible to use NPC Clothing at the present time due to it being part of the NPC mesh and not a separate clothing item

;)

NPC clothing in SR3 does not work like it did SR2. The player can never wear it since now both the npc body and clothing is all one big mesh/texture.

Ugh that's lame, I winder why they changed it from how it worked in SR2? Thanks for the responses however, hopefully they'll add more clothes in a future DLC.

They did it so that it wouldn't be as resource intensive so they could get many more npcs onscreen at once.

makes sense with that logic, just a pity they trimmed down the char clothing options. I miss the huge selection of clothing we had to choose from in #2, most of the outfits/suits can't even be recolored here. :(

Gah, I had a rant going ready for this and realized it was necro deviation. Something to do with limitations of stale 7 year old cartridge game hardware and
how it impacts games ported to PC's.
Yah, better luck a few years from now. Haha.
Assuming we make it past Armageddon 2012, be a couple more years for next gen cartridge machines .
Then all will be peaches and creme.

YEs, this post was massively edited by me. This is my idea of restraint.

Don't feed the chimp.
