NEED SOME HELP.

Unistall it through Steam, then make sure that there is no Saints Row the Third folder in "common".

Then delete the userdata folder (55230) that I've mentioned before.

Reinstall through Steam. It should be clean now.
 
Okay, the game appears to function just fine now, it's installed properly and the game starts now but the game now instantly crashes the moment i press ANY key on the keyboard including regular control keys such as WASD and space.
Anyone know why?
 
I'm going to guess at something totally random ....

Do you have any other controllers attached to the PC, such as a 360 gamepad or some such thing? Joystick maybe? If so, try unplugging them all except of course the keyboard and mouse.
Are you using some keyboard modification software perhaps? If so, remove it and see what happens.

I just unplugged my PS3 controller, finished the first few missions, then plugged it back in and now it works fine!

Now, there was another thing that i needed help with but i figured it out but then all the stuff above happened so now i have a new game.
I needed help with a weapon tweak that i forgot how to do as i did it quite a long time ago.
I need to figure out how to make the .45 fire faster (preferably as fast as the Kobra) and i don't remember how to do it.
Anyone out there who can help me on this?
 
1. Search for <Name>Pistol-Gang</Name> in weapons.xtbl
2. Then go for <Refire_Delay>600</Refire_Delay>
3. Change 600 to: 200 - Kobra firing speed - Lower is faster.
 
It was at 100 already for some reason but i changed it to 200 anyway and it didn't change anything so i set it lower than 100 (50) and it still fires painfully slow.
Anyone know why?

EDIT: Figured it out, i just loaded the weapons.xtbl again and it worked now.
