Opinion on SR3 Remastered

So i've been hearing things about The new SR3 game and i would like to know your opinions on the game and also is the game worth buying? and is there something new other than the graphics and the character models?

I think it's interesting to experience SR:TT with nicer visuals. Unfortunately it's very buggy; with botched lip-sync, poor models, broken Co-Op, awful lighting, lots of screen-tear, etc. If you're a fan of SR:TT, I'd definitely recommend you wait till it's cheaper (when it's on Steam) for you to experience and make your own opinions on it. Aside from that, I'd be quicker to recommend the original TBH — unless you've never played a SR game before and are physically incapable of tolerating aged graphics and can't wait for SR5, in which case expect bugs

It's funny because I've seen a lot of people say the same things you have but I haven't noticed any of those issues. Though I will say I haven't played co-op on the remaster remembering how broken it was on the original

You haven't experienced botched lipsync? Or excessive screen-tearing? What about the Genki manapult's missing canon, hood, and doors? Or earrings not aligning for female characters? It's great if you're having a bug-free experience, but a lot of people are still having all sorts of issues. Also, Co-Op in the Remaster will not load your co-Op partner's textures, leaving you with this, and the original game's Co-Op never had any issues like that before.

Wow coop is BAD on the remaster. The lipsyncing isn't bad on my end. It's about what I'd expect from even a modern game. Litterally about the same as gtav or rdr2. No screentearing on my end. The genki manapult is something I have noticed. I was a little upset about that but in reality I only ever used that car in coop in the original because of the fun bugs to be had with it. Now with earrings... The morningstar earrings have never aligned correctly. Not even on the original. In fact there's at least 2 mods that fix that for the original. But what is a new problem is (since the player models are different) piercings on the eyebrows no longer line up correctly.

I should also mention that I run the game fully maxed out at 1440p 144hz so that could contribute to the difference in graphical bugs like screen tearing or lip syncing. Actually both those issues sound like it could be a frame rate issue

coop is bad......lipsync is not bad on my end......no screentearing btw i am using a 49inch ultrawide monitor (3080x1080) ,else no problem.

i really hope sandbox+ can be ported or will be made for remaster

The thing about the earrings being bugged in the original is not an excuse when you charge $40 for a remaster and leave in a bug that a Volition dev fixed for free 7 years ago.

Fair point. For some reason epic refunded me $10 from my original $40 preorder so to me the $15 was worth it even with the same bug
