Oh yee, it's 100% possible if you check out the test video in the forum you can see I did it in the first mock-up of the mod. That said, I’d need to reach out to Janson for permission first—I don’t want to use anyone’s work without asking first. But yee def doable, just a matter of asking.

Also, just wanted to give a quick update for you and anyone else following the thread: progress is coming along really well. I had to create and tweak a lot of button icons, especially for PC, but I can say with confidence that a good chunk of the missing buttons have now been made and swapped in. I’ve also made adjustments to help everything feel more cohesive. DualShock and Xbox One sets (both Light and Color variants) are basically done, and I’m currently working on the Nintendo buttons rn.

There’s a official name locked in for the mod, which you'll all see once the official release drops. I might even take it a step further than just button icons—thinking about updating the reticle to be cleaner and adding a more minimal option, almost like the NOVA SPE mod, and refining "certain" prompts for a cleaner look overall (most likely going to make it optional and would be worked on upon the completetion of every button set).

If you—or anyone else intrested in the mod—would like to help out with testing *cough* like checking which PC prompts ACTUALLY show up in game so I can make the buttons I would need for it *cough*, that’d be massively appreciated. LMFAO

Question, how do I use this in game? Do I place it in a folder or do I replace it with a text editor like img factory? Thank you.
You want to drag and drop all files except the example folder (note you can only use one set at a time if you'd like to use a different set overwrite the files with whichever one you are trying to use

Here's a tutorial made by Spadita

all u need to do to make my clean map compatible is open the interface backend peg from both mods, and then copy over my edits to the ui_bms images where I removed the green and blue backgrounds from the stores and activities. full permission. good luck. I know you dmed me but I just now checked my email and saw that all this time later.

Got it working.
You could've just said "Use Gentlemen of the Row to build it. Place in custom mods folder.)
lol
But I appreciate the response nonetheless.
Thanks :)

v2 should be the last beta I post, as I’m aiming to have the official release hopefully soon.

The buttons from the beta will be completely overhauled with a new set that I feel is more cohesive and offers more variety to choose from, and includes support for even more console options (plus, I just really like the aesthetic of the new ones I’ve got, lol).

There’s also a full overhaul planned for certain HUD icons, the HUD itself, and the map icons. Huge thanks to Spadita and Janson—I really preciate you both.

Just posting this to show the kind of progress that’s been made. The next time I share anything, it won’t be on this specific forum—it’ll be for the official release.
