Radio plays after you get out of your car

Is there a way to make the radio play even when you're not in a car? I find it quite silly that the phone can play songs, but you have to keep it there.

I have.

EDIT:
Okay, that might be a little stingy with details. I was able to successfully attach radio stations to the character so they follow you while on foot. It's part of something that Turk and I are working on and will be out sometime in the near future. :)

Seconded. I was wondering if that's what you implied.. now I'm curious how it's managed. The only step now is to figure out how the heck to actually make new radio stations in-game so we can have a "SaintsPod" music feature that plays from a custom bank when on foot.

This makes me really happy

so I can now just run around with "I need a hero" playing? There is a god, and his name is IdolNinja :p

I don't know about being god, but I will accept a sainthood. *rimshot

Would this have a problem with key bindings? If someone has the taunt/compliment and radio prev/next on the same keys will ti cause an issue for them? I have taunt/compliment on default keys, but i have the radio on the left and right arrow keys.

It shouldn't cause a problem. It doesn't function at all like the radio does. i.e. it's a unique key combo will activate/deactivate each station. It doesn't just activate a radio and then you switch with the arrow keys.
