Probably because:
1. The release date in Japan and/or Europe is the 23rd
2. The Release date in the US is the 20th
3. The release date in Australia is like a month later.

So I'm forced to conclude; it certainly wasn't the 23rd last time I looked at the Steam page, it was the 20th. Now I have to wait three days for unknown reasons, which understandably pisses me off. I wish I knew why this happened. Like they say on Rock Paper Shotgun, there are no oceans on the internet...
 
could that be the reason why our Aussie friends got theirs further delayed? Maybe they need to reprint a new set of disc for them.
