Reverting back to original game files

Hey guys,

I'm a big fan of all the mods on here, but I got a bit carried away installing them into my game. I forgot to make a backup of the original game files, and now I'd like to get the game back to it's normal 'vanilla' state.
So, has anybody got a backup of their game files I could copy? Or is there another way to get it all back to normal?

Thanks!

In your steam library, right click your game and verify cache/integrity (can't remember exactly what its called) but this will check your files against steams database files and sync them up

You are advised first to delete all of the files in the installation folder of the game (steam\steamapps\common\saints row iv), but you can leave the subfolders since all current mods are installed in the main folder.

Steam won't delete those automatically, and they affect how the game runs, of course.

verifying the cache doesn't delete files that are not part of the standard game install, so it will not remove your mods. As Corr said, the best way is to delete all the files in the root except the subfolders and verify the game cache so it can re-download any of the base game files that were deleted, which will be rather quick as it's a relatively small amount of data. (all the large game files are in the subfolders)
