Saints Row 4, IntelHDGraphics4000?

Would my intel hd graphics 4000 stand ANY chance against this game? i pre-ordered and felt like i didnt want to miss out. I dont have the money to upgrade anything or buy anything, a laptop with integrated graphics. Is a mod where reducing rendering, possible? It was for skyrim, i use this as an example as after this mod was placed into my skyrim folder, i was able to run the game on high. Just curious if its possible to make such a thing? I dont want 20-25 FPS, or not being able to run the game, Thanks.

I do actually have a PC with HD 4000 graphics ;)

I will give it a try for you and see how it goes.

Edit: this shouldn't really be in this forum. Moving.

oh, sorry, im kind of new to posting threads even though ive played saints row 3 for a pretty decent amount of time and used the mods here. Thanks for moving it haha, and thank you so much for trying it on your other PC. didn't want to cause a hassle but im very dedicated to get this game working, ill do almost whatever it takes just hoping ill get atleast 30 FPS heh. P.S. A quick question, when you say you will give it a try does it mean you have it unlocked on steam already? If your not allowed to disclose that info its fine, just curious and jealous lol..

I think I still have one of those in my motherboard. I've been trying to make it into a secondary graphics processor tied to the GTX 460 SE I have. That way it can take some of the load off the primary when it comes to such things as say, physics processing or some such.

Um I have an Intel HD gfx 2000 (im thinking of upgrading as soon as I can afford to), and the game runs pretty nice. I run with most of the settings on medium.

IdolNinja and I have press review copies.

I tried SRIV on my Intel HD 4000 graphics and it's surprisingly smooth. Low settings work easiest but you can set most to medium if you turn off AA.

oh wow, really? Sweet! Thanks man! You don't know how overwhelmed with joy i am! :):):)

One other thing, was the Intel HD Graphics 4000 you had on a PC or laptop? Just curious :)

1. Don't double post dammit! Use the edit button.
2. I've tried it on my Mac Mini (which is basically a laptop inside a fancy case) - which has Intel HD Graphics 4000 and also on a Intel HD Graphics 4600 in a Haswell PC. Both get similar performance.

This is surprising to me. I'll have to back off on telling people x wont' run that cause 'that box is too weak' until we get more reports in. SR3 had
so many folk with bitter experiences on the low end.

As a point of data, MiniMaul, did ya try the same with SR3 on that hardware? DOes it blow up and die or what?

I haven't tried SRTT on the same hardware, no.
