Zefie and your problem seem to be related more to this post more. The original post by Zefie with information on how to find more information about the crash is excellent.

Looks like you might be right. Turns out I'd never updated this laptop to SP2 so it is still running DX10. I'm getting that downloaded right now and will update tomorrow to let you guys know if it worked after I've got everything installed.
 
Well, I had to download alllll the Vista updates after getting SP2 before it would update from DX10 to DX11 but it finally worked and is running SRIV and the Station now. :) Thanks guys!

I have a little bit different issue that is also related to Zero Cool. After I try to get on the ship, it plays the cutscene and simply loads without an end. Does anyone here know how to fix this?

I really need your help guys!
Every time I click on campaign and choose difficulty lvl it turns off! I really want to play this game so it would be awesome if you guys figured something out!
And yes, I have reinnstalled it several time and tried it out
 
The title is just a crash, it could be anywhere in the game. You can only tell if you have the same crash if the fault offset is the same.
