How about a war-themed Saints Row?

The Saints would be a military group, and they have to fight insurgents, militia, and mercenaries in a war-torn country. Law enforcement would be a gendermarie force(like the French Gendermarie). Attacking civilians would be unethical and make you look bad. That's where the Gendermarie comes in.

Say something about Call of Duty! I DARE you!
I think that would be a good idea for another spinoff or DLC but not the main story.

Honestly Call of Duty is kinda like Saints Row it was great in the beginning but went downhill in the later games. Call of Duty wise anything past 2008 sucks, All that futuristic shit overrated as hell.

That's the kind of reply that I like to hear.

Surprisingly, I like the newer Call of Duty games better than the older ones, especially Black Ops III which is the first one that has co-op campaign, which was awesome! Call of Duty keeps adding great features, while other games keep removing them. Although, I do miss the tanks.

I say "surprisingly" because I prefer the older Saints Row games, and I don't like the sci-fi stuff in a Saints Row game.

A reboot in the 70s where you play as a recruit in the vice kings when they first occured would be cool. It could be loaded with customization options and retro clothing and vehicles. I would so buy that.

Why don't just make MC wake up from coma again?
Especially that he can wake up from 2 comas, Idk if someone would survive without blacking out such fall as one in the beginning of SR4.

to throw in my hat. i love the whacky asthetic of sr4 a lot more. and hope they continue to make the series even whackier
the ending for sr4 has made a world of possibilities for a possible sr5.

personally, since zinyak can indeed travel through time, i am thinking of a zin civil war.
where the zinyak of the past finds out about his defeat and rallies his then-followers (as well as forming an alliance of the saints previous villains, including dane vogul, the general, mr sunshine, julius little, phillipe loren, maero, junichi, and killbane, all ripped right before the protagonist would have fought them) into fighting the saints and the current timelines version of the zin. however, an otherworldy being sees the potential damage to the universe and pulls both factions into a city of its making ripped out of time. a prison for any and all time-traveling ner-do-ells. but the saints and zin, still hated enemies, continue their war.... while also trying to escape this limbo with the help of inmates who ALSO are trapped there.

the boss still has super powers, but he loses them at the start. he slowly would get them back as the game progresses, along with new ones.

and although the previous villains ARE indeed working under the past zinyak, they all form their own gangs and are warring amongst themselves, as well as the saints. yeah. the ronin, the masako, the morningstars, the luchadores, the sons of samedi, danes ultor, and the brotherhood are all back and badder than ever. and they hate each other. and they hate you. the time-rift explodes into a massive gang war. and at the center of it all, the angels (this version of the law enforcement) are trying to stop everyone from destroying the universe, and actually have super powers. in fact, by the end, all the gangs are super-powered. and its an all-out war. the civilians (yeah. there are civilians. why wouldnt there be?) are all simply people that are trapped in said limbo.

the final battle would end with the boss bascially beomming god. and with his rule, he ensures one rule: chaos above all.

Here, let me fix those words for you:

Would you like to see a NewGEN Saints Row Reboot?

Rebooting Saints with the superpowers NO!

Rebooting Saints without the superpowers YES YES YES YES Yep always positive, yeah!

Rebooting without the superpowers to what it was before Saints 4 you're going back to the awesome realistic greatness.

Superpowered Saints is an embarrassment to me, the series has lost it's way & going backwards to a Saints 4 & GOOH style with foolish superpowers is BS & keeps the Saints planted as a Overwatch wanna be.

Why not just make a gigantic Saints title with endless boring flying around doing the same stupid crap as Saints 4 & GOOH did cause that's basically all you're getting. Another Overwatch wanna be with cartoonish characters BS.

I hate that idea, i'm totally against that idea, i don't support that idea, & if Saints gets rebooted to that idea i quit.

The superpowers & Sci-fi aspects made it stupid from a Overwatch wanna be & it became seriously uninteresting & extremely boring to me.
It'll seriously SUCK If Saints becomes like that.

That's better. :D

But, to be perfectly honest, I began losing interest in the Volition games after Saints Row 3. I have been trying really hard to support the newer games, because I love Volition as a studio, but I just don't enjoy playing or modding the newer games as much. That's partly why I didn't enter the modding contest for Saints Row IV. I'm just not motivated to mod that game, but I actually still like to mod Saints Row 3, because it's just a lot more fun to me. It's hard for me to say this, because I've spent many, many hours working on modding tools and mods for Saints Row, but I've really been feeling disheartened lately. :(

I guess I tend to look at it more from a modding perspective than people who simply play the game. I like a nice sandbox that gives me a lot of choices for things that I can do. Saints Row 3 and older really had a lot of different possible activities. I felt that I had a lot to work with in those older games, and I never got bored (still don't, when I go back and play them). I could go boating, driving, flying, ride trains, explore a lot of different cool and unique buildings and caves, customize my character and clothes, customize my cars, and enjoy rainy days and sunny days. Those old games are just so fun with SO MANY things to do. The new ones, I fly across the who map in 1 minute and I'm done. No boats. No trains. No reason to drive. No where to explore, since all the buildings got blown up or are not enterable. No reason to change my clothes since everyone's a bot -- bots don't care about fashion. It's just really boring to me.
