SRTT So about SR:TT's traffic...

Up to short ago I managed, after quite some weeks of trial and error, to get this much vehicles in traffic using the fully customizable ccar & gcar without crashing the game. But after I made some extra changes to the Compensator and the Estrada, the game went full crashing leaving me completely puzzled, because I don't think the changes I made are that huge. It's just the same as I did with a couple of other vehicles:

Remake the <Colors> section of the civilian variants, so that the car's body, the trim and rims, the window tint, and the interiors are seperate groups, allowing for more diversity in colors.

I'm glad I managed to make a civilian Peacemaker though, just as buggy as in SRIV - complete with sirens. :D

Can't wait to see the full list of my million mistakes I've made.

So I can't look at this now. Havok is throwing a hissy fit because the license has expired. I can't even run the debug exe from 2012 and attach to it without it pitching a fit. Until I can get in touch with Havok and beg them for a new key for free so I can debug this I'm not sure what I can do. If you could port this to SR4 I could look at it now, but I'm sure that isn't straight forward either. I'll let you know what they say.

By using your method, is it possible to edit the Phoenix variant 'stunts' to change the colors as shown below ?

Would you please post a screenshot of the civilian Peacemaker.:D
Thanks.

EZ. Iridescent paint job, glass tint 80%, and a few component changes. Would need to use fully customizable variant though because of those component changes.
What I did in the <Colors> part of the tables is purely to increase variation in colors.
About the civvy Peacemakers, it's not that hard or anything.

All you need is the ultimate variant, then put some other rims and colors on it.
Still buggy sometimes as the Steelport decal appears every now and then.

I don't think porting it over to SRIV is really that much of a great idea.
The Compensator is one of the cars crashing SR:TT, and it changed a lot parts-wise in SRIV (pity that the best aspect of it is removed in SRIV -- the single-sided exhaust stacks...)
If it is an error in the parts selection then the car might not crash SRIV.
EDIT: one of the 2 causes fixed. Some of the Compensator's wheels had the nasty kind of typo that's just too easy to overlook.

Hmmm weird.
For some reason I managed to have the majority of civilian traffic, including gangs, spawning using the fully customizable model, little typos are what caused my game to crash in the past.
But one thing is confusing me and digging into it confuses me even more, up to the point that it gives me headaches;
When I'm crunching bikes the game crashes, but I can't find any errors in the variant tables. I wonder what causes the game to crash with bikes...

I also don't entirely understand why cars are heavy enough to get me in some way disrecommended to crunch so many with fully customizable, yet I managed to get the majority of traffic to spawn with that model.

Enlighten me.

Which cars and variants do you have spawning that are working without causing the game to crash ?
Exactly which bikes are you modifying that causes a game crash ?

Is it possible or have you tried to get the Phoenix ( car_2dr_muscle04 ) to spawn in the parking lots with the variants shown below ?

All cars that can become somehow interesting with variety:
Nelson, Sovereign, Bootlegger, Phoenix, Raycaster, Torch, Cosmos Solar, Infuego, Hammer, Peacemaker, Wakazashi, Churchill, Taxi, Reaper, N-Forcer, N-Forcer NoTurret, Alaskan, Kayak, Bulldog, Flatbed, Thorogood, Compensator, Keystone.

I've tried all of them both combined and seperately and all of them caused my game to crash. Indicator to me is that it doesn't spawn, or when I add the vehicle and its variant as cheat, and use said cheat, that the game crashes.
I'm just gonna try crunching the vanilla .xtbl so then maybe I can tell if I did anything wrong or that the devs made the .xtbl wrongly themselves. :p

That's some very good work there getting all those cars and trucks to spawn.
Would you please post some screenshots of them showing which variants you applied.:D
May I ask you why you did not include the Attrazione ( car_2dr_exoticsports01 ) ?

Let me know if I can help you in any way.;)
Thanks and keep up your good work.:)

Thanks, been months of trial and erroring.
Screens coming soon.

Because there's something wrong in the Attrazione's .xtbl causing the game to crash. I'll rework the car coming weekend from the vanilla file.

Let me know if I can help you in any way.;)

I'm fine, but thanks for the offer.

Also, I found what caused the Estrada to crash. Apparently using "Cloth" color set for interiors isn't a good idea on that bike, while it's a color set solely using just 3 legitimate interior colors, even though it's made for ragtops on cars.

Miku Hatsune, would you happen to know why the car's .xtbl ( car_2dr_muscle04.xtbl ) seems to be read for it's <Variant>>Stunts< but not the others ?

It would be so nice and simple for us to modify ( not necessarily add new variants ) the existing variants by editing the vehicle's .xtbl file that contains the variant info.
