I really like that hairstyle and that sunset time-of-day is beautiful! I assume there were clipping problems that made the hairstyle problematic, so it was cut. Fortunately, we have mods for time-of-day, but those clouds were awesome!
Having said that, we are looking for the build to possibly show on a future stream. :)
I would love to see that! :)

I was just reading this "The Art Direction of SR:TT" presentation and... Seriously, just look at this explanation why Volition dropped "NPCs are the personal character" technology from Saints Row 2. What the fuck? XD

So, in Saints Row 3 they could have 25 unique characters in the game at one time, which is better than 10 in Saints Row 2.
The problem is, there are fewer unique characters overall on Saints Row 3 than Saints Row 2, so the whole benefit is lost.

Edit: I just realized something: If they have the same number of unique NPC characters overall, and they can now spawn more NPCs at the same time, the chances of seeing duplicate characters in a crowd has now increased, so maybe this has caused an unintended negative result -- the "clone army!" ;)
