The Australian version

So, this morning my version finally unlocked so I can play it, but it seems that mods do not work with the Australian version, is there some line in the tweak tables/other mods that we can change to make it the Australian version? EDIT: By "do not work" I mean, when the game is starting and gets to the loading bar screen, it goes up to one bar and then freezes permanently, if you tab out of the game, it shows the message "Saints Row IV: Inauguration Station has stopped working"
 
Australia's version has a certain side mission cut; because aus' rating board are stupid.. this makes the game incapable for coop with the rest of the world, I think the actual source code very slightly different probably breaking your mods

Dont quote me on that; even though im no stranger to modding, I have no experience with making mods for saints row at all
 
You might have to extract the files from the patch file and do your own copying and pasting.
 
You will also need Notepad++ and Winmerge to do some of the work.

misc_tables.vpp_pc has most of the files that you will want to look at, and patch_compressed.vpp_pc has the updated files in there.

Use Winmerge to compare the files you extract to the ones from the downloaded mods.
