The Modding News Destined to Change Everything

Great, since you debunked that theory I'm going mental trying to think of it =P Least I won't have to wait long, hopefully, but considering the topic you posted this in it has to do with modding it won't actually affect us until the 20th, would it? =P Unless, of course, it has to do with Saints The Third modding....but that's what the SDK is for, isn't it, and this announcement has nothing to do with the SDK...
 
Awesome, I can't wait to hear it! Although, I do have an idea what it COULD be... I didn't expect that yet, but it's my only idea based on what has been talked about on the forum. *Cough*NewPatchCenteredAroundIncreasingModdingLimits*Cough* :rolleyes: I mean, that's not necessarily the SDK itself so... My best guess.

I'll be excited with whatever it is though, I'm sure.

I'm just as curious, although if it IS something like that my worry is too few people will realize this site exists and happens to be the repository for all the tricks and tools and help out there, and heck the spark of the modding initiative. Then they'll just ignore it for the steam part, where a lot of people will say "Go to this forum" and the people will just go "WTF why not explain all my long questions tyhat are answered already on said forum and just spoonfeed me the answer here on your thread about your unrelated mod?" :confused:

You mean Steam Workshop? That would be pretty cool.

Also, I remember something either you or Minimaul posted in the thread about changing the forum logo about Volition having "something cool" for us. Anything to do with that perhaps?
 
Ah, a new layout for the forum with an actual logo (and maybe a bit of style change, as cool as the simple purple on white is)? That'd be cool.

Well, it's ok. Steam Workshop (I keep calling it steam community cause Steam stuffs it under the 'community' tab) support would be great, but is a lot of work to set up anything to allow it without it just splitting the game like an egg. Eventually? Probably, what with the idea of making it stand-alone adding bits like DLC packs. For now? Heck no.


But now I guess I have to wait to see. Just gotta watch the Hype Train's boiler doesn't blow up from this build-up :D
 
so maybe we can request new stuff for saints row 3?
i personally would like to see a belmont armed with a whip in-game. (not a request. just throwing it out there) hey, with these new toys your getting, will it be possible?

Sounds like a request to me. Save that for when the tools are released.
