The SR Community Should Treat the Developers Better. Seriously.

At least we can agree that this kind of behavior is a disgrace to the whole SR community. What triggered me the most is when some people started making jokes, saying that the release of the first reboot trailer was what caused Mike's passing.
Volition has been doing some questionable stuff with this whole reboot situation but it doesn't deserve the kind of hate that some people are throwing at it. And even if volition was as bad as some people say, it still wouldn't be a reason to go harass individual developers.

Its insane to me, because Mike's job as a community manager at Volition was LITERALLY to approve stuff into the game as something fans would love in the game. He dedicated last 4 years of his life making sure this is the best SR game that we'd love, so idk where they got the idea he'd actually hate the reboot. (in fact, he said he's down with 90% of the reboot right before stepping down). Oh and his mod, it literally made nuclear flamingo launcher, handheld septic gun and orbital shotgun, and they think he'd hate the idea of explosive pinata launcher.

Not to mention he literally worked on the wall everyone said "baited" them and was misleading. I don't understand in what universe they think Mike would be on the same page as they are. All they know is he loved SR2 and have never stopped for one second to think why is that.
Right so they might as well leave Idol out of this and let him rest because if anybody had the community's best interest in mind during the development of the reboot, it's him.

The crazy part about it, is that Volition isn't even doing anything and they're getting attacked for showing off their characters at MOST. Outside of the marketing tactics of Deep Silver. Neither Volition or Deep Silver deserve any hate because the marketing is not the worst damn thing in the world for people to be in such an uproar.
