Trouble using a non-xbox controler

Hello,

As I have no xbox controller, I've tried to use the one I got and which... actually belongs to no console.
(Though it's like a playstation one)
At first I expect to use the JoyToKey software, so pressed buttons would be redirected to the keyboard, or the mouse, etc... Just like I did for some games before.
But then, I realized that the game could find my controller, and that I could directly use it without JtK.
I thought it was a good news.
But actually it's a very bad one, since my controller's ouput seems to be slightly different from xbox's one, and some buttons don't work as they should.

Here is how it works now:

I've tried to use JtK anyways, but the game still use my controller direct output added to JtK modified output.
So no, it doesn't even help with the stick.
-Is there any way to change the command assigned to xbox controllers?
-Any way to disable the controller ingame? So I can use JtK instead.
-Or maybe, any software similar to JtK that would allow me to interchange my controller's ouput, or redirect them to xbox like ones?

Note:
In JtK and any games that are not meant for xbox controllers, I don't have that glitch with the left stick.
I guess it's only because SR3 expect mine to be a xbox one...

Slight Edit:
Heck, I just noticed the "Get Help" sub-forum...
Could an administrator move the thread please?

Thanks, but that seems to be a juts a driver for xbox controller.

However, searching these keywords, I randomly found the xbox controller emulator.
A kind of JoyToKey for xbox, as I suggested.
It was a really a pain to get this one working, upon many downloads, only this one worked: [link]

Then... Problem already solved

(And by the way, the topics was moved to the help section of the adult corner. Why? XD)

Oops. Meant to move it to the SRTT one. Correcting now.

By the picture, I thought your controller was a Clone Xbox controller.

If your controller works fine in an Xbox, then that software will let it work in Windows, without any emulation needed.

Well, the xbox-like buttons are just sprite I placed there to show they didn't react well.

But I find that emulation can be a better option than a real xbox controller, since it allows to customize the command.
And added to JtK, you can customize it even more.

Hello guys, I'm new here. I am having the exact same issue as the OP. I see that he solved it by downloading the x360ce emulation tool. And I've tried and tried and tried again to get this emulator to work for my PS3 Afterglow gamepad. Its just not working. Could you (Estecka) tell me how you got the emulator to work for you. I still get inverted controls on my Left Analog stick when moving my character around or selecting options in the menu. Everything else works fine though.

All praise to x360ce. May it live long and prosper.

Motioninjoy drivers for PS3 controllers get a shout out, too. If what you have is actually a PS3 controller, you might want to consider using Motioninjoy instead of x360ce, especially if x360ce isn't working 100% right. I recommend Version 0.6.0005, because that works great, and i've seen some complaints on the forums about version 7 getting button assignments wrong.

Quick instructions for Motioninjoy:
Get it installed, connect your controller by USB, launch DS3 Tool, (at this point, it may be necessary to go to the drivers tab and "install" once), select 360 emulation mode, click "enable", click vibration test to make sure the controller's responding.

If you're using bluetooth, the workflow is different, and i don't know it offhand. There are instructions.
