Trying to mod a SR3 Model?

Hmmm. I really want to edit Shaundi, but I'm using Blender, I'll be transferring to 3D Max a few hours later. Thanks. I'll do vtol. But I'll do some screenshots. I just googled everything, this forum gave me texture extractors, others gave me model extractors, and now i should have everything together.

Bad news, as for vehicles, the format has not yet been decoded I forgot about this on the thread I found the stuff:

* Extraction takes a long time, 30+ minutes lol. After extracting all STR2 files and textures, there are 200,000+ files. It takes time to search for files.
* Character models only.
* Texturing is manual (for now).
* Models are in LWO files.
* Skeletons are in OBJ files. They were kind of complex and best I can do is just joints connected by lines.
* Use your modeler to reconstruct bones to your liking using the OBJ file.
* Skeletons need to be rotated.

Yea, so only character models for snow which is still acceptable, but vehicle formats have not been decoded. There are no model formats for them, you know it's those a-hole sr3 ccar,gcar,cvtf(i think material).

I'm not familiar with mesh modding but wouldn't it be possible to convert SRTT's models to San Andreas format, edit them with SA tools (there are some, right?) and then convert them back to SRTT?
