I'm new to this game and new to messing around with the files, but I have been looking at the character and homies .xtbl files and I wanted to know where do unlocked homies (like Brutina from Gangstas in Space) get added/stored? I have had an issue where some of these unlocked homies don't show up in my phone list, so I had a friend without the issue email me his files but his homies file doesn't look any different from mine. I see how overriding to add custom homies works, I've done it. But I would like to add back the unlocked ones from the game like Jenny and Brutina, or maybe I can override them in the install folder too if I know what tag entries they use (Display_Name, Character, Audio, etc.).

try replacing the name of the homie in the .xtbl for shaundi, or pierce, or some homie you already have.
for example with emergency homie look for <Name>emergency<Name> and replace it with <Name>shaundi<Name>
that should do it.
if the homie it´s dlc you will need the content otherwise it will not work.

I tried doing that but it doesn't work right for DLC characters. I end up with them in the phone list but they never come. But it's not a problem anymore, I got one of them added when my friend called it during a co-op game. Now I have more homies to call than I know what to do with, so I don't care if there's one I'm still missing.
