Unlocking the DLC Weapons

Then how do you and the rest of the team plan on fixing the issue at hand?

We don't.

First of all, it's extremely unlikely that it will ever be fixed. We've been trying to access those files for a year now with no luck. Second, the only way we would even allow it on the forum would be if there was a way to make sure that a player had to own the dlc to use it.

Also, in no way are we ever going to fuck with a "SR3 Downloadable Content Menu" like you're asking.

Wait, so you guys are only make mods, and do NOT work Volition, or anyone else who was in the making of SR3?

Of course not. We're just fans and modders. We have nothing to do with Volition at all.

Hm... the genki reward vehicles, the helmet, and so on... aren't they used normally in free-roam? Of course all that means is the problem is how Volition got the engine to acknowledge some dlc assets in preload for general, and not the others.

Knowing them, it's probably hardcoded into the engine, saying "When we load, add these assets too" because they couldn't manage to make it load them in the general preload either.
Didn't know splicing files in had been tried though. Is it really impossible to 'add' any assets to the game? Wouldn't that imply that there's some sort of master list past the acms? (Or are tools and understanding just not at the point of adding entries, only updating existing ones?)
