SRTT Upcoming Patch 5 Differences

Looks like Patch 5 will not affect any mods from this site. I took a look at the beta and the only changed files are in patch_compressed.vpp_pc and are all simply updated billboards and downtown LCD display graphics.

It would have been nice if they actually patched some of the bugs this time. :rolleyes:
 
When I saw "patch 5" in this thread title I said "Finally!" to myself. Stupid me. Up to this point I should have learned that "patch" doesn't equal "bugfixes" always. As for now, my bet is that we're going to see a lot of EtD ads now.
 
Well, they could be postponing the ACTUAL patch for later along with EtD, when they fix all those annoying bugs in the engine, in preparation for the new pack, and then go and toss the updated fixes on core engine since it's done.

Maybe I'm optimistic. Still, glad to see nothing will break... but annoying to see absolutely NOTHING will break (cause it means nothing was done):rolleyes:

From what we're hearing, EtD is pretty much identical in terms of engine :(
 
Patch 5 just hit on Steam.
 
It's good to see Volition has their priorities in order- who needs bugfixes, right?

Install the current version of Gentlemen of Steelport should do it, as long as IdolNinja has not patched the current version on his site.

Not yet. I also plan on giving the player a choice on those too. :)
