Viper's SRIV Body Mod's

Rename "ReShade64.dll" to "dxgi.dll" in Saints Row IV directory. OR...double click "ReShade Setup.exe" and let it rename for you. Rename the "ReShade32.dll" to "d3d9.dll" for DX9 games.
There is no reshade.exe in my sweetfxo_O. You must be referring to someone elses mod. Any sweetfx that has a reshade.dll has crashed my games:confused:

Windows 10 is unable to run sweetfx on any game that doesn't have a dx9 launcher. They modified the coding in the system. So I guess in lumens terms lol, only game I ever found that will run sweetfx on Windows 10 is srtt. I said piss on Windows 10 and put windows 8 back on my laptop. Half my drivers didn't work and everything lagged real bad. That's sad when I am running an I7 processor, 16 gigs of ram and a 3 gig Nvidia card. So to answer your question bluntly, sweetfx only works on srtt on Windows 10. You must edit the display.ini manually because if you do it in game it will crash.

don´t know what you are do wrong. i have win 10 too. i just have a dualcore processor, 4 gig ram and a nvidia gtx 650 with 2 gig ram. my win 10 works really good. is your win original??? i just can use sweetfx for sriv. but i use sweetfx 2.

try this link:
sweetfx homepage

and try this link:
sweetfx that i´m use

here you will find a reshade.exe. a readme for installing is there too. at sweetfx homepage you find settings for sweetfx. copy one of them into the sweetfx-folder and replace the file what is allready there.

Thanks my friend but my laptop hated windows 10 and yes it came straight from microsoft so it was legit;). I stck to windows 8 because my laptop runs like a monster and i can use sweetfx on any game i want. My laptop was special made and i guess my components just don't like windows 10:p. I loved the edge browser though.

AAck...I am using Reshade + SweetFX with Master Effects (better SSAO controls, among other nifty tweaks). I was confused, ignore my suggestion. :)
All is well my friend. Others running windows 10 could use your help. Upload what you have and let them know how to use it on windows 10 and i am sure they would be much thankfull. I know when i was running windows 10 i could use all the suggestions possible.

I'm on Win7, did the Win10 upgrade but the new driver certification system borks my SLI, so went back to Win7. When I tested games etc, my current installation directory was on a separate drive, so I just plug and played. AFAIK, the only thing that might need be done is be sure full update of June 2010 DX9 websetup to get d3d9_43.dll in system files and be sure UAC is not blocking the .dll (right click>properties>first tab>if it were blocked, there'd be a button saying "unblock".

I'll clean up my reshade+sweetfx and upload for sharing.

Uploaded. This will not work for those with legacy hardware (DX9) because I can't find the proper version to put d3d9.dll to match ReShade version. This is a mix and match. Currently configured for high glare (think JJ Abrams) and color enhancement. Adjust settings in "MasterEffect.h". Extract contents of zip file directly into Saints Row directory, where the "SaintsRow.exe" resides.

If you are on Win10, or have UAC turned on, right click "dxgi.dll" and be sure it is not "blocked". High settings on HIPS may also interfere with dlls like this, add an exclusion to your HIPS rules, adding the folder.
I had windows 10 and most of my hardware didn't work right even after new drivers. I went back to windows 8 and i figure if it ain't broke don't fix it lol. Many will appreciate your help
