Never tried tattos but weapons should work fine. I actually used this to animate parts of my flamethrower guitar

I didn't see a post on it anywhere, but on yesterday's stream, Josh announced that the clothing SDK and Workshop support is coming "pretty soon"

whether this is in Valve Time or not remains to be seen.

Yeah, the SDK's coming along nicely. Of course we can't put an exact release date on it yet, but there's definitely been a lot of progress lately.
