I have to ask... did you guys actually see someone holding up a "Feel Boss $5" sign somewhere?

Yes, the very beginning i. At the cutscene just after escaping the plane, when Loren is giving instructions to the other members of the Syndicate, we see Boss and Shaundi walking past a group of people at a street corner. There's a guy in a hooded brown jacket holding a sign that says "Feel Boss $5". He's the one who grabs Shaundi by the ankle, causing her to kick him off as she follows behind Boss.

From the way Shaundi (of all people) says, "You don't want to know" then it's a safe bet we should not know.
