Anko was a shorthand version of Ankoku no Mitsukai, a terrible, horrific username I used one time during my weeb phase many years ago. I simplified it and slapped "the Great" on it.

That's pretty clever, I must say. I tried doing something similar a while back, thought I could find something interesting with my initials, (R.A.M.) but I found most of my fave sites had fellow Super Troopers fans who took "Ramrod" and most variations thereof I desired.

My name spawned from my old CS1.6 days. Whenever I was in a bad situation and I got out of it (jumped on by an enemy and winning, last man standing on my team and winning, etc.) I would say "Nope". I eventually called it "getting noped".
As of late though I've been having trouble telling the difference between someone saying "nope" and someone saying my name so I changed it to Noep (said as no-ep or no-wep)
