Which visual mods to use for SR2?

Been digging around and saw several visual mods for the game. I have been using SR2 Visual Overhaul Mod from Steam's Purgatory Guide as it was the place I began with when first installing SR2 PC. But now on here I found more and cannot decide which is for the best, or which combination of mods for the best visual you could ask for. I will list all I think that is great, hope everyone can help:

1. Saints Row 1.5 Lighting
2. Saints Row 2 Remastered Graphics Over Haul and Saints Row 2 Remaster 2.0 | Next Gen Lighting |
3. Saints Row 1 HQ Texture Pack for Saints Row 2 v4.2

So, which mods do you think will give the best look to the game? can any of these be combined and go together? (Are the optional mods from Visual Overhaul Mod nice to have, or the graphic improvements from other mods outweigh it?) Please share your experience and opinions, thank you
 
masamaru HQ texture pack, its a good option too, if u want the game to look better, but not like sr1, also i think it changes the lightning and not only the textures but im not 100% sure, i hav been using this texture pack for a long time so i dont remember how sr2 used to look lol
 
i think Saints Row 1.5 Lighting is the best choice if you like sr1 weather and stuff..

Its possible.. but you'll have to replace some files. That's the case if you want to have sr1 graphics by using Saints Row 1 HQ Texture Pack for Saints Row 2 v4.2, Saints Row 1.5 Lighting & Saints Row 1 Weather XTBL's (just install one by one, first hq texture pack, then 1.5 lighting and for last weather xtbl's)

SR2 Visual Overhaul Mod its also a good option to use with Saints Row 1.5 Lighting's d3d9.dll & shaderoverride folder (in my case, i used with Juiced Patch and kinda caused some issues with shaderoverride folder, but with dll you should be good)

Seasons mods (Spring, Fall, Winter) are a good option, specially using those graphic mods..

is this the one that also includes change to main menu's screen? I looked at some of his recently and they are really nice

thanks for the detailed answer. my god the spring season mod looks beautiful on an already lively Stilwater. and the other 2 are nice for the occasions.

No, thats a other masamaru mod, is nice too
