You should at least try out the new weapons and gameplay changes before shitting all over our hard work... If you only want the SR2 style explosions, copy "explosions.xtbl" to your SR4 folder. There may be some residual side effects as some other explosion entries were changed for the full mod...

If you're talking about the LSD-esque "melting walls" effect, unfortunately there are no mods which remove that yet. Doing so would require a texture mod, probably.

Uninstall the mod, watch the cutscene, save your game, install the mod again. I'm pretty sure that this problem had been fixed in an earlier version, though. Do you have any other mods installed?

Play through the game until you enter virtual steelport. Save the game and install your mods after this point and you shouldn't have any more problems.

As far as I know there is no list. You can find out which variants each vehicle has by viewing their .xtbl files after extracting them from misc_tables.vpp_pc. Or, just wade through all the variants included in this mod's spawn_info_groups file.
