Yeah, I'm in the same boat. There seems to be no way to disable the DLC bonuses.

Increasing the upgrade costs on everything makes it so you can't afford the first pistol upgrade during the opening of the game. Buying ammo is a workaround but it's an issue you should probably fix, just lower the first pistol upgrade back down to 100 from 200.

What happens when you include a file in 1-MY_EXTRA_MODS that conflicts with another mod in the compilation? Does it somehow get spliced in if it doesn't change the same lines or does it completely overlap and replace?

If it helps any, I think it's suddenly working again with Smart (for some reason.. I didn't change anything) but it still auto-centers when I drift. Just give space bar a quick tap and bam, the camera is yanked away from you.

I'm positive. I'm using the Loose Files option right now. patch_compressed.vpp_pc & patch_uncompressed.vpp_pc are both default. I don't have any extra mods.
