Agents of Mayhem gameplay details!

That RPS preview is exactly what I want to see more of. They covered how different characters have different traversal abilities, such as air dashes, vaulting, and (presumably) quadruple jumps.

...And I've also noticed how badass pierce looks in aom, have you noticed that when he was running he had his own gangsta styled animations(which means the agents will have there own unique animations, woohoo!).
I guaruntee when aom comes out i won't be the only person who only plays as kingpin!

I seem to recall reading on another forum (maybe the official AoM ones before they were shut down) that they recorded a lot of dialogue for each character, so it's possible.

All Agents have unique animations; jumping, running, melee, etc.

Gotta 100% it though... :/ I wonder if playing different combinations of agents triggers any game events, like the unique discussions between homies in SRIV

Yep. :)

There is a HUGE amount of dialogue for each Agent. Each line of dialogue for each Agent in missions is different and unique. There's also mission replay if you want to hear it all.

the issue I have is that they've been showing off way more of the shooter gameplay than the open world gameplay. AoM is an open world game but people are still mistaking it for an arena-based third-person Battleborn clone (they've already downgraded it from Overwatch clone). Saints Row has never had amazing gunplay. They were great games because of the different systems coming together.

Basically, just show off more free-roaming stuff. Show off the parkour, show off the driving, show off the various side missions.
I think this is exactly the problem with the videos I've seen. It's all a bunch of jumping and shooting in a small area, which doesn't look like an open world game at all.
To me, personally, the open world aspect is the main selling point. I don't care much about all the shooting. And I don't really have any feel for that in the videos I've seen so far.

they did confirm on Twitter that this week's stream will focus on AoM, so hopefully we'll be getting to see proper open world footage of a build and it's not just a walkthrough of the B-roll footage used in various previews

That PC Gaming article does not represent what press are actually saying. In fact, many of them loved what they saw:

Thank you Idol, I appreciate that, I'm just worried because those are both on the front page when you search for the game. So it's great to read some other articles.

I hope the team is noticing any bugs that are shown as well.

Pierce's new appearance looks great! He has a lot more flavour and style than before (and less of the ever so slight plastic freakishness :3).
