Buggy Homies

Okay! I am off work tomorrow, I'll try to research what other unique characters exist as models in SR4 when I can. I'll be sure to help troubleshoot the next new build too
 
I'll add one other thing, sometimes after calling them in, Aisha, Jane, and Sunshine will remain greyed out even if they are culled out and could normally just be called back in. I have no idea what causes this.

EDIT: This was from the first build I was still on, I'll see if the problem persists on the new build
EDIT 2: On further review, when I tried to throw them away with Telekinesis, none of the three would fade away and be culled out. But on another note, watching Killbane use melee takedowns was satisfying
EDIT 3: Jyunichi has the knife takedowns too? That's fucking badass, I love that
Jyunichi has knife takedowns because he has Gats spawn rank, I chose Gat because he is the only character with special melee attacks I believe.

The greyed out thing is a little odd. I think it's just an error made on SR4's part, but if the problem becomes too annoying I'll troubleshoot
 
I'm unsure about it myself. They have low health pools compared to other Homies, and their models don't disappear normally. They effectively need to be disintigrated or a save reloaded at worst. I do have to mention they do not stay grayed out on an autosave reload, so something is going wrong with how their models are or are not discarded when they're too far away normally - it's never permanent, just a minor inconvenience.. Would it happen to be a problem with their NPC groups?

Could be, I just updated the mod awhile ago, I'll look into fixing that though

Problem should be fixed now, I just had to adjust the spawn ranks so that they spawn as homies instead of just regular gang members
 
I kind of wish certain other characters existed at all in SR4 lol, like Mr. Wong, Luz, Troy, or Tobias

I think I remember Cypher and non-powered Donnie existing but idk for sure

Either way I'm really hopeful for this mod's future, especially given recent events

Who knows? Maybe I'll learn how to edit asm files eventually and model some of these characters but that has a very low chance of happening.

Just know that if you want to request a mod, maybe I'll figure something out, this mod isn't too far from being released so if you want some more homies then you can let me know who to add, I was thinking about adding the SWAT team back and maybe even the Zombie Horde, I'd also enjoy adding Zinyak, Zynjai, maybe I'll even create more customization options to customize the saints around the city. I'll probably make a warden homie and maybe even skinballs and distant human homies.
