Custom Radio Stations Guide

I did. I have a feeling the game just isn't recognizing the edited misc_tables though. I tried reducing the length of every track to 1 second, and they would still play out in their entirety. What's odd is I modded in a few songs a few months ago, and they still play fine. It's only the ones I'm trying to add now that have this weird trait. I've timed the silence a few times, and it's nearly always about 2 minutes every time, for every song.

Are you sure you put the edited table files in the right place? They need to go in the root with the exe.

Weirdly enough, after starting a new game and several reloads, the files are inexplicably working as intended. I changed nothing, the silence just stopped. Make of that what you will! *shrugs*

I'm trying to do this, but something seems wrong with the download link to the SR3 Audio Tools...it redirects me to an invalid URL. Is it just me, and/or is there some other place to get that file? Thanks!

I confirmed this as well. I'll ask Toad King what's going on when he's next online.

I uploaded and attached them to the bottom of the OP in the meantime.

So wanted to try this, and downloaded all the necessary files and installed them. I have a legal steam copy (US) and the newest version of Gibbed Tools.

But every time I try to extract soundboot.vpp_pc Gibbed Tools stops responding (crashes). Everything else extracts fine, except for soundboot.

This is on a fresh install of the game (don't know if that makes a difference). Any idea why it does that?

Edit: I have it installed to C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Saints Row the Third\

Just the error message:

Unhandled Exception: System.IO.EndOfStreamException: Attempted to read past the end of the stream.

Do you have the censored German version of SRTT? I remember another user having similar problems from a while back, and that turned out to be the cause. Minimaul was going to look at the tools and differences between the archives to try and determine why, but I'm not sure what the outcome actually was.

I've never even heard of the censored German version. I live in the US, and bought the Full Package off Steam last year.

So I found something odd about my issue.

I was reading the Gibbed Tools thread, and found your link to the soundboot.pcc_pc file, so figured I'd download it and see if it works. Oddly, it extracted perfectly.

But I noticed something else as well. My soundboot file is only 3.94MB while yours was 8.24MB. Seems kind of odd that they would be different sizes if they are the same file. Yet yours extracted perfectly, while mine crashes when I try to extract it.
