Delete Reward Vehicles (plus customize all vehicles) v3

When I changed the performance on my vehicles like the Sad Panda it made them all go super fast, can someone with vanilla save check if this is just in my head or not. I did NOT upgrade the torque just the body stuff. Thanks for anyone who can check, it just seems so super fast and out of control now. Maybe it always was, hard to tell now.

TIP: Always save in a new slot when using any mods so you have vanilla saves to fall back to just in case a mod does something to corrupt your save.
 
I did have an old save file 2 of them so tested it out but cant tell if it is in my head or not. Probably is since I am just over analyzing the cars moving so fast. I did notice there is a patch file for the vehicle containers in my root folder but even with that deleted and the other stuff deleted on a vanilla save the cars seemd to move faster than I thought they did. No matter today I will attempt to play the game and see how it is with the mods from shitfaces peds and the vehicle customization mod from this thread. Maybe its a speedup bug like in saints row 2?
 
None of that stuff changes vehicle speed, and there have been no reports of any kind of speedup bug with SRTT. Have you completely removed all mods and tested it again? To do so, delete all files from the root of your SRTT install with the following extensions:
.xtbl
.lua
.asm_pc
.str2_pc
 
It won't let me change helicopters at all and other vehicles are limited. I tried to change the colour on the STAG N-Forcer, but nothing changed.
 
It's a known issue with not being able to customize helis. You need to use turk's mod that converts them to boats so you can then customize them at the dock. Just remember to remove it after you're done and saved your game, otherwise they will just fall from the sky:

The above mod also unlocks additional customization options for certain vehicles.
 
I just added that mod, but all me helis are gone from my helipad and I can no longer get them to fly. I want blacked out aircraft, but I can't get this stuff to do what I want. :(

Of course they are. Like I stated in my previous post, they are now at the dock. You need to go to the boat dock and customize them. Then you need to save your game and remove that part of the mod that turns them into boats so that they are helis again.

I understand now, I did not before. I love my blacked out Eagle (The tan one with weapons).
