An idea I have for stores and other gameplay elements.
Clothing and Character Customization.
Planet Ultor: Sells casual wear, jewelry, some business attire and some sportswear.
Impressions: Sells business attire, jewelry and "yuppie" clothing.
On The Rag: Sells casual wear and "club" clothing.
Let's Pretend: Sell's an assortment of "cosplay" related clothing. (Military, Law Enforcement, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror etc).
Nobody Loves Me: Sells punk clothing, hipster attire and some biker gear.
Leather and Lace: Sells biker clothing and well let's just say plenty of NSFW outfits.
Rusty's Needle: Let's you apply tattoos to your character.
Image As Designed: Allows you to change your characters gender, voice, skin color, race, hair, facial features, build etc.
Vehicles.
Rim Jobs: Repairs vehicles for a fee. It also let's you customize your vehicles when your nowhere near a safehouse.
Foreign Power: Sells sports cars and other luxury vehicles.
Mid-Life Cycles: Sells motorcycles.
Vlad's Boating Goods: Sells boats, jet-ski's and yachts.
GI Surplus: Sells law enforcement and military grade vehicles.
Big Bad Will's Car-Lot: Sells common civilian grade vehicles. (Name is a reference to the infamous "Big Bill Hell's" video if you couldn't tell)"
Chop-Shop: Unlocked after reaching a certain point in the game. Sell's gang vehicles, reward vehicles (just in case you remove them), and special chop-shop vehicles. Some of the vehicles include fan favorites like the Septic Truck and Pee-Wee and two of the vehicles sold here is a fully decked out mech (note it is an actual vehicle this time around instead of simply being a character morph. Which was nonsensical to begin with) and the fabled "dragon mech" that didn't make it into SR4 due to time constraints and memory issues.
Weapons.
Friendly Fire: Sells weapons, and mods.
Black Market: Sells additional weapon mods.
Powder: Sell's extremely powerful (albeit extremely expensive) variants of the weapons found at Friendly Fire.
Other Gameplay Elements.
Destructible Scenery: I remember Volition experimenting with this in SR2 but it was sadly dropped in the sequels likely due to engine problems. So hopefully they bring this back from SR2. Speaking of engines.
Better Mod Support: Since the full SDK will likely be finished when SR5 comes out (which would probably be mid-2016 or anywhere in 2017) it would be nice if this game actually played nicely with mods. Espicially since even though SR4 was supposed to be more modding friendly SR2 and SR3 were much more stable when I used Gentlemen of the Row\Gentlemen of Steelport while SR4 sometimes turns into a horrid, unstable mess if I install multiple mods.
Better Character Customization: While SR4 did give us more options to change the physical appearance of our character many of the clothes from SR3 or SR4's DLC were put under the idiotic "suits" category. So definitely better clothing customization like we had in SR2. It would also be nice if we could change clothing color in the wardrobe without the need for mods (or for console users buying multiple variants of the same article of clothing).
Replayable Missions: Definitely a must have for SR5, no excuses.
No More Forced Outfit and Weapon Loadout Change: While mildly irritating in SR3 since it was thankfully only in a few missions in SR4 it was really, REALLY bad. Since almost every mission had your character forced out of there custom outfit into a generic boring spacesuit or some idiotic mission related outfit. Sadly this also applies to the weapons in SR4. (Loved using the SWAT SMG? Well too bad! You're forced to use the Xeno-Blaster!). So please Volition, don't have this show up again in the next game.
Better DLC: What I mean by this is have the clothing and weapon packs bundled together in larger packs. (For example the Presidential DLC being bundled with the Brady Games and Wild West or the Anime DLC being bundled with the Comic Book and Alien packs). As for mission packs either have more missions or make the missions more "meaty" (Like what we saw with the mission packs for SR2 and SR3).
Better City: If it's Steelport again i'm really hoping they make the neighborhoods more varied. Kind of like what we saw in the concept art.
